“Even though the director told us (Andy Lau and Sean Lau) that we would be appointed, he didn’t say how tall. During filming, it was only ‘1,2,3!’ And we went up. I thought we were going to lift slowly and the scene would take a few tries, but it was finished in just one shot, “said Sean.
Meanwhile, Andy said that security is much tighter in this film. He said that it was very different from filming in the past where the actors would have risked their lives.
“Even though it was very fast, the action director and team were very thorough and would check the wire for damage before the scene. In the past, shooting was like risking your life, now I feel really safe and cared for, ”said Andy Lau.
This film was originally set to air in July but was hampered by the corona virus pandemic (COVID-19). As a result, the film Shock Wave 2, starring Andy Lau and Sean Lau, is scheduled for release on December 24, 2020.
